Shiflet House is a proud sponsor Hebraic Roots Aviv Fellowship Sukkot 2024 Israelite Wilderness Experience. We offer 80 acres of dry camping for our week long Sukkot out in Far West Texas near Big Bend National Park.

Of course, this week-long adventure would not be complete without a few trips to Big Bend National Park. An easy hike anyone can walk/wheelchair accessible is the to view "The Window".3-mile round trip. A moderate hike is the "Lost Mine Trail" its distance is 4.8 miles round trip. Where at the top you can see for miles all around. Garvin and I have hiked both trails. Both hikes will be on different days in which we will blow the Shofar, have a picnic, and prayer time. On another day, we will drive through the entire park sunup to sundown. If your active duty or a veteran, bring your military id or DD214 with you so you can gain access to Big Bend for free. For Seniors 62 and older BBNP offers lifetime and annual Senior Pass options. Persons with permanent disability get in for free. For more information visit National Parks Services

We are interested in hearing from those whose training and gifts in survival skills and old homestead ways to teach mini classes in addition to our Torah Portions for the week.

**Pets** You are welcome to bring your pet. However, you are fully responsible for your pet. Please note while anything is possible including but not limited to black bears, coyotes, wolves, mountain lions, snakes, badgers, and other wild desert animals. Pets are discouraged in Big Bend National Park, require a leash and are not permitted on any of its trails for safety reasons due to wild animals. They frown on leaving the pet in the vehicle while you hike. Shiflet House does have one small fenced area, but we will not be responsible for your pet while on our property. If your pet is a problem, please leave it at home with a friend. We do have two full grown German Shepherds that will be kept in their own fenced area for your pets protection.

If you are interested in teaching anything please email us at info@hebraicrootsavivfellowship.org

The Registration Form is coming soon. You will be able to pay via app or mail a check.
